Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
The business started crane production during the year 1963. Eventually, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and manufactures 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for various applications and there are models available to cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has some extremely flexible lifting options for smaller businesses working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other units comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and really adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are particularly designed to work in tight locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are located in close proximity to each other.
