Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are used to move materials and things around on wooden pallets using metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump which lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single person.
Pallet trucks must be operated with care in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Equipment should be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet must be stacked carefully in order to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
To release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever located on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be in the middle in order to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and dragging it behind you. It is really not safe to push the pallet in front of you since the thrust could cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
