Hyster Container Handlers Illinois

Hyster Container Handlers Illinois

Hyster lift trucks have numerous standard and optional feature to make each machinery safer for the operator as well as other employees in the work place. Some of the features available are audible devices, safety lights, ergonomic operator compartments and operator restraint systems.

Visual safety devices such as LED strobe lights may help to alert other people that there is a lift truck close by. There is a low-mounted strobe light that has a shield to help avoid the light shining into the driver's eyes.

Audible warning devices such as reverse operation alarms, which sound automatically if the truck is backing-up, warn other individuals of the presence of a forklift within the area. A rear drive handle with horn enables the driver's hand to be secure when reversing. This inboard handle protects the driver's hand in case of impact and the handle has a horn that allows the driver to sound the horn without having to move their hand to the main steering wheel.

The operator restraint systems help to keep the operator safe in case of a lift truck flip over. The restraint system works by keeping the driver's torso and head inside the cab of the lift truck which would help them to prevent serious injury. Hip Restraints and Anti-Cinch Seat Belt are basic features on all types of Yale/Hyster lift trucks. For older Yale/Hyster lift trucks, safety restraint systems can be installed on nearly all units.

Superb ergonomics are available in the Hyster StanDrive E30-40HSD2 series lift trucks. Available in 4,000 or 3,000 pound capacities, these forklifts are really versatile and durable, as well as ergonomically designed to improve productivity and enhance driver comfort. To increase operator comfort and visibility, the controls enable the driver to stand at 45 degrees or in side-stance.
