History
Salzgitter Maschinenbau AG was started in the year 1919. The company was initially established by Anton Raky, an engineer. Raky was a pioneer in modern drilling and oil drilling technology. The initial company name was Anton Raky, Tiefbohrungen in Salzgitter.
