End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics which are quite comparable to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space required to utilize these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machines are an ideal choice for applications which require regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by a variety of businesses who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic setup which allows the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just provides much more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
