Terex Boom Lifts
Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
The Genie DC and Bi-Energy equipment manufactured by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for instance, in industrial situations where the equipment should travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and benefits of a diesel powered generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC machinery.
Several of the key characteristics offered by this combination include over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. Furthermore, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all units, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
The proportional and drive controls offer the equipment with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an extra working range for specific jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machines by Terex are ideal for both indoor and outdoor construction applications. This model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine out, over and up positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this particular type is second to none in the market.
Diesel engine machinery on nearly all modes have an articulating boom which offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machines are great in small or narrow locations. Furthermore, they offer terrain and grade maneuverability, utmost power and exceptional torque. The diesel engines are quiet overall also. Nearly all models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to offer great flexibility on surfaces which are rough and uneven.
The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, offer the rough terrain features and high ground clearance which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom models are available and offer extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models as well.
